Human eggs, yes, zygotes, no, not directly. They're paying to take some of a healthy young women's eggs. When an egg is fertilized later, it becomes a zygote. Setting aside moral, religious, and other issues and just focusing on the numbers, $4000 is a rip off for the invasive surgery involved. To help put it in perspective, I've heard of other places paying $10,000 to $20,000 for the same thing.
Couldn't trouble you to be a little more specific, could I?
ReplyDeleteI'm going to take a shot in the dark and say you mean human eggs, as in zygotes?
